Hidden gem

Very good stay. Hotel is a bit older than many but hasn't lost its charm. Staff is friendly and very competent. Great location, hard to beat.

Check i was horrible. Came in at 11:00 a.m. which i know is early. I was able to store my bags with no issues. I was looking at only being here for a few hours for I had a palne to catch later this evening. I was told to come back at 3:00 and get my room. Came back at 3:00 and no room. I told them I had to leave at 6P:00 for the airport. Wanted a nap and a shower. I did not get a room until until 4:30 as well as many others in the lobby. Many were unhappy. The room was nice and clean. Loved it had a fridge , stove, kitch. Much nicer then the room I had at Kuhio Village. I 'd stay here aain if I am traveling alone. Nice place just the check in bad. Paid for a full night and only go 90 minutes.

My room had an Asian kitchen just outside the window and a street food eating area. Noise and cooking smell was constant. Had to access room by going down an external service alleyway that was simply dire. Had various insects crawling around inside the room. The radio music from the food joint filled the room from 7am until late. Needed to use earplugs to sleep
