Cute river cottage!

We stayed two nights at this cottage. Overall, I really liked the cottage. Quiet and quaint, close to several towns. Loved the riverfront location and the big yard/firepit area. Has everything you need for your stay. Just a couple of recommendations (1) you should replace the carpet with some kind of hard surface flooring. The old, dirty, musty carpet does not give a good first impression. It's an easy and inexpensive fix. (2) leave some kind of "departure instructions" in the cottage so we know what we need to do when we leave; like put out the trash, start load of towels in the washer, strip bed, etc. We have no idea what we needed to do upon leaving. Other than that, we did enjoy our stay!

Peaceful and Relaxing

The property was just as we expected. Everything was clean and comfortable, the setting was wonderful, and communication with the host was great. With the view of nothing but the Platte River and the forest, we really enjoyed our time relaxing and stargazing. We highly recommend this for a nice getaway to unwind and recharge.

Perfect getaway

We were on a BFF staycation as we live in TC and the location of this property was ideal for going to all the best beaches, rivers, trails, food and everything outdoors. The house was equipped w everything you could need. Very well kept and clean. Definitely want to come back!
