Hopfgarten im Brixental is a jewel in the Austrian Alps and attracts visitors all year round. In winter, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser attracts visitors with over 280 kilometres of slopes. In summer, Salvenaland Hopfgarten offers fun for the whole family with a lake and adventure playgrounds. The nearby Kelchsau is a hiking paradise with hiking routes of different difficulty levels and breathtaking mountain lakes.

The regional cuisine is a highlight, especially Tiroler Gröstl, a savoury dish made from potatoes, meat, onions, a fried egg and refined with fresh chives. You can also savour other Tyrolean delicacies in the local
