Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.. This beautiful 150-year-old, detached cottage has unspoilt panoramic views of the Lincolnshire Wolds and is surrounded by the owner’s farmland. There is an abundance of outdoor space, a superb 7-person hot tub, a small orchard, decked area and a secure fenced front garden with a hammock, garden furniture and gas barbeque. Secure storage for bikes is also available should you wish to bring your bike and sample some of the scenic cycle routes close by. The Cottage is in an ideal location for both families, friends and ramblers to have a memorable staycation. Don’t forget to look out for Lincoln red cattle which graze in the surrounding fields.

The Cottage has been renovated to a very high standard with modern accessories and fittings. It comprises a living room with a stunning wood burner adding additional heat and charm, a great place to snuggle up in fron of on the comfortable sofas with a glass of white whilst watching a film on the Smart TV. Across from the living room is the kitchen/dining room, which is well equipped and well presented for all your culinary needs should you wish to have a home cooked meal with the family. There are four bedrooms across the first floor, all stylishly decorated and equipped with fresh cotton linen guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep. In addition, the master bedroom offers en-suite facilities. The family bathroom is also on the first floor and offers a roll-top bath; the perfect place to have a relaxing soak after exploring this fantastic area, and there is also a spacious shower cubicle for guests on the go.

The property is located in the wonderful Lincolnshire Wolds National Park with many scenic walks and cycle routes straight from the door, so make sure you pack your walking boots. The east coast and the seaside resort of Skegness, which has been a popular destination for many generations, is a 30-minute drive where you can enjoy all the traditional seaside attractions, and many miles of unspoilt beaches to stroll alongside the sea. Travel more inland from The Cottage and within about a 45-minute drive you have the historic city of Lincoln which is famous for its stunning cathedral. Horncastle is the closest town, which is full of independent cafés, pubs restaurants, shops and supermarkets and is definitely worth visiting on a day out. Lincolnshire Aviation Centre is 15 minutes’ drive away where you can see Just Jane, the WWII Lancaster Bomber which does regular taxi runs up and down the runway. After a day exploring you can then return to your cottage for a cosy evening in front of the wood burner or a spend a relaxed evening in the hot tub whilst taking in the fantastic views which surround this superb holiday home. Beach 18 miles.
