Welcome to the Backwoods Getaway! Located centrally between Asheville and Brevard it is your perfect starting point for your Western North Carolina adventure! What ever your outdoor adventure, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, or something else, you are just a short drive away.

New remodeled kitchen and bathrooms! The unit has 4 bedrooms with 3 king bedrooms en-suite and 1 queen bedroom with a bathroom across the hall and an additional 5th loft bedroom with 3 more queen beds, full kitchen, living area, an entertaining area downstairs with access to the hot tub on the deck.

Start your brewery tour at Sierra Nevada Brewing (8 miles away) or there are plenty of outdoor activities located a short drive away. Tube or paddleboard the French Broad River, 18 miles to Sliding Rock, 8 miles to Mountain Biking at the North Mills Recreation Area, check out Pisgah National Forest, or the Blue Ridge Parkway and many other options!

Mountain cabin with tons of nature attractions nearby

My family and I enjoyed the stay at Woodstock in the foothills of the Smokies. The house is designed as a real mountain cabin that could be right out of Woodstock in the 60s - with a hot tub and fire pit! We did a lot of hiking and scenic trips and had a great week. Michael was a great host.

Nice place.

This property was nice and quiet. It allowed us the flexibility to do everything we wanted and was around multiple breweries. If someone in your group is more elderly the staircase may be tough to handle. Also, bring trash bags and toilet paper for longer stays. Other than that an enjoyable experience with a hot tub!

Woodstock manor

Cute 1970’s Woodstock painted themed three story home in the woods. Needed much more attention to cleaning indoors and out. Property manager was attentive to correcting gross errors for lack of cleaning. However we found issues throughout our stay in-fact we even repaired items. Some of Furniture appeared at least from the 70’s in need of repair.

FAMILY REUNION

HAD A WONDERFUL STAY AT WOODSTOCK MANOR. GREAT LOCATION AT THE TOP OF RAY HILL. PLENTY OF PARKING AND A WONDERFUL VIEW OF THE TREES OUT BACK. THIS IS A VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION TO ALL THE SIGHTS AND THINGS YOU GO TO WNC TO DO. MIKE IS A GREAT HOST.
