From bonfires and smores to kayaking and biking or just a relaxing day at the beach. This cabin is not waterfront but only half mile away from the nearest lake access. Close to trails, boat launches and town center. Popular destinations like Traverse City or Torch Lake is not too far away either if you just plan to take a day trip. Houghton Lake is not only a quaint little town that gives you that up north feeling but it also offers the convenience of having stores and restaurants when you need them. Clean and comfortable

We’re a family of five and this was a perfect stay for us. Comfortable, clean, nothing fancy, just what we needed with no frills. The yard is beautiful and I love that it’s all fenced in. Made me feel very safe that my little ones could play outside with minimal supervision. Would definitely stay here again.
