Let me start off by saying maybe all of the rooms aren’t this bad but I don’t think I have ever experienced a room as filthy as this one. Upon entering the non-smoking room it reeked strongly of marijuana, had dirty fingerprints all over the walls, especially the bathroom door and light switches. Hair on the bathroom floor and bed. And lastly, toothpaste on the outside of the bathroom door. All of these things were blatant and I cannot imagine why housekeeping would leave it this way. I would like to share pictures but unfortunately it doesn’t give me that option. I am one to overlook small things and never leave poor reviews but this is not one of those times that I can justify not saying something.

It was very clean, staff was very nice, and it was close to dining, and to the Smart Financial Center where I was going to a concert. Very pleased with choosing Best Western Sugar Land for my stay in Texas.

It was just okay on all levels. Stained mattress, bath sink blocked, needed to run water in the tub for at least 3 minutes to get hot water. Shampoo, soap and conditioner appear cheap with plain scent.

Although there were some good things about my stay at this BW - convenience to shopping across the street, spacious room, friendly and responsive front desk service, good parking, relatively quiet and a very good breakfast spread - the main drawback was sub par room prep and cleanliness. The bed was not properly made and the room only felt barely clean and sanitary. Cleaning and prepping a room are not difficult tasks with the right training. I hope improved training and quality control in this area will be monitored closely going forward.

This was a just need a room for the night due to needing surgery early in the morning situation. Can’t tell you much on the outside. As for the staff the girl running the desk was polite and accommodating, she was extremely apologetic for the issues we had, so can’t fault her. Once the misses and I had go the key and went to room number 1 the lock mechanism didn’t work with either keys( even went to have them programmed again), the staff assigned ins a different room as she saw on the camera that we were still having the issue. Room number 2, keys work, but once inside the room was never cleaned, bed not made, trash in the can, etc. Once we got the 3rd room, I guess the third times the charm” saying is true, because we have success. The room was nice and clean, and plenary of room. Now like I said this was just a bed for an early morning surgery, so didn’t do much.

The positive: The man working when we checked in was very friendly, helpful and professional. The negative: pubic hairs in the wash clothes and shower wall. The pillows are litterally toddler sized.
