Apartment was amazing but the building wasn’t so great

The inside of the apartment was great. Very clean, welcoming and decorated. The building was very confusing and smelled when outside of the room. The fire alarm went off 5 times while we were there once at 2:30am. The pool area was nice and enjoyable. The location is very convenient for the NRG stadium shows and close to anything you may need. Better detail about check in and out would be nice. I had to contact the host multiple time to find out what to do but she was very kind and helpful and quick to respond. This was a girls trip so it was nice to be in a safe place with gated entry.
