This was, without question, the most disappointing and unprofessional booking experience I have ever encountered. The host never contacted us at any point, despite having the property simultaneously listed across multiple platforms, which created a clear conflict with our reservation. This level of disorganization reflects a complete disregard for guests’ time, plans, and financial commitment.Even more troubling was the lack of meaningful support afterward—Vrbo offered little assistance in securing an alternative accommodation, leaving us to deal with the consequences of the host’s negligence entirely on our own.Experiences like this fundamentally undermine trust in the platform and raise serious concerns about the host’s integrity and business practices. I strongly advise future travelers to exercise extreme caution before considering a booking with this host

BEWARE. Zero stars of I could. This is this worst person to rent from. This host canceled on us 30 minutes before check-in after driving 4 hours to enjoy a weekend of college football with family. And the only reason I was notified about the cancellation was because I messaged them and asked them for check-in instructions. Very unprofessional. Told me that the only reason I was canceled was because it was booked on a different site. If you’re going to cross book your space, then be responsible and professional enough to communicate with your guest beforehand. My literal worst fear when booking a rental home is driving hours to the location just to be canceled on beforehand and this person did just that. I will never book again without emailing the host first to confirm beforehand that a space is actually available. Had to pay 300 to book another location last minute because I’ll have to wait 15 DAYS to get a refund from VRBO. Just sad. I was REALLY looking forward to staying at one of to cutest listing I’ve seen posted in HTX.
