Overall, not very happy
It was a huge disappointment and inconvenience to find that the kitchen wasn’t fully equipped but also, the dishes and cookware that they did have were all incredibly dirty. The reason we rented a house over a couple hotel rooms was solely for a functional kitchen. The cushions on every single dining room chair were filthy, we only sat on the metal chairs in the kitchen. Only one out of four bedrooms have a TV. The throw pillows on the one bed were extremely dirty, as were the inside of most of the dresser drawers in two of the bedrooms. Some matching hangers would’ve been nice, instead of random hangers that looked to be from dry cleaners, Target, etc. There was a sparerib bone left in the smoker, covered in ants. The patio furniture cushions in the yard were really dirty. There was a soda can left in the fire pit. The fire pit was also completely uncovered and was soaked from the rain, making it useless even when it wasn’t raining. Biggest concern that I had, besides all of the dirty dishes, was that my toddler grabbed a wasp nest while in the yard. We didn’t realize until there were a couple red wasps chasing after him and saw that he was holding a nest. We asked if we could check in any earlier than their 4pm check in time, I was told that they would let us know when it got closer to the date, they never let us know either way.
Getting into the house was made very easy. There were plenty of towels and washcloths in the bathrooms. The kid’s room had a ton of toys.
