Scary experience

Our stay was going great. Apartment did smell like smoke even though it stated no smoking facility but we managed. But on our last night (after 4 nights) we heard some beeping at the door and someone opened the door with a code number as we were sleeping. It was very scary because we were half asleep I just don’t understand how they were able to get a code to open the door while we were still there and had reserved the place until the next morning at 11:00 am. I believe something has to be done about getting a code when guests are still in the building.
