The place wasn’t as it promoted on the website. However we were ok and had a great time. The dryer broke and they are now trying to blame us for stained towels.

Not as pictured in some areas…not well cleaned

Rental agreement says they expect you to clean like you received the property so cleaning costs low, and that you will be charged for any extra mess or damage to newly painted walls in the whole house, so I was prepared for a clean rental with nice clean walls. Property wasn’t ready on time, which wasn’t the issue as we weren’t ready anyway. Told the late entry was because the house was being cleaned from the previous renter. When we got to the home at 8pm, I was shocked to see smudges, scuffs, dents and all walls looked dirty. The carpet was dirty and had obviously not been cleaned/vacuumed prior to our arrival - mud and hair balls, an earring, safety pin, and a popcorn kernel all in the master carpet, the table had crumbs on it, the couch was visibly dirty, there were beer cans out by the pool in the bbq pit, floaties left out, along with chewed gum stuck to the pool surround by the stairs, gum wrappers in the room downstairs. No towel rack in downstairs bath and missing towel holder by master bath. I took videos of the condition as I didn’t want them thinking any of that damage or dirtiness came from us. Didn’t ever get in pool as the camera points straight at it and I didn’t think it had been cleaned either. Sheets seemed clean though they were not matching sets. Home would be a GREAT RENTAL if it was properly cleaned and better towels provided. Don’t take a big vehicle, driveway tiny! We almost went to hotel due to dirty condition but didn’t have extra $$ for that.
