Never going back

First, the overnight front counter staff was rude when I checked in. I prepaid for a king room and they gave away my room. I was given a double room instead. #2. Water was off the first night so we were unable to shower out use the bathroom upon check in. We had to go to Whataburger for my wife to use the bathroom. And when the water did come back on, our toilet wouldn’t flush. Maintenance did not show up until the second day, 1 hour before checkout. I will not be starting here again

My stay was very pleasant, everything went smooth. Despite the negative reviews. Only thing I didn’t like was hair all over the comforters. But they changed them with no problems. Would stay again.

The location of this property is great, but that’s about it. Unfortunately, they don’t seem too concerned about guest safety. After booking, my employee checked reviews on the day of their reservation and found a bed bug complaint posted just six days prior, along with reports of car break-ins. To make matters worse, the hotel doesn’t have any security cameras, which is surprising for such a prime location. When I brought up these safety concerns and requested a partial refund, the hotel completely denied it, showing no regard for guest well-being. Extremely disappointing experience—would not recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Came into our room and it reeked of a smell I cannot even explain. Dirty air? Humidity? I could not even tell you. The entire room felt dirty to the touch because the air did not seem clean due to the smell. The bed was just a mattress on bed base, and it was very loud and squeaky. For our stay to only be one night, it was bearable, but will not stay here again when we come back to Houston.

The location of the property was centrally located. The price was reasonable and the staff was helpful. The building itself could use a little updating and it would be nice for the pool to be heated with a hot tub included but relatively nice for a short stay. Overall, good space for the price and would recommend.
