Early check-in a lie

Property has a ton of potential but needs a lot of work and maintenance. I was charged extra for an early check-in and didn't get the code until original check-in time. We all just sat outside of the property for two hours. Owner never responded to me or the VRBO rep. Would not stay here or other properties tied to this owner.

I didn't stay because of the odor, it was filthy!! Food on counter tops, god knows what was on the floor, air conditioner not working upstairs and yard hasn'tbeen mowed in weeks!! Just terrible!! I emailed the host and said i wanted my money back but still yet have gotten a response

After purchase, we were sent out the House rules. Which included silence hour starting at 9.p.m. We also had to pay extra if there was more than 6 guests, but when booking it shows Max stay is 15 guests. We found this to be an issue due to actually having 15 guests. The post does mention extra charges up to 3k if your not compliant with the house rules. So be careful with having a large group. Also the place was very dirty , the grass was not cut, and the AC was not working during our summer stay !. For a place that is very particular about house rules and mentioning violation fees , it sure wasn't clean.
