Disliked: Cleanliness
The place is in serious need of regular maintenance. There were many issues that had to be addressed . Such as my 96 y/o mother got locked in the bathroom , when she was alone , because of a faulty doorknob. The electric front door lock stopped working because of dead batteries . One bedroom door doesn’t close due to the foundation failing . The shower door in the walk in shower gets so jammed stuck that I was afraid the glass was going to shatter when I had to force it open . The hot water was turned down so low they had to come turn it up . The host seemed very willing to fix things but , it was getting to be an everyday thing . I can’t enjoy my digs if I have to wait on some maintenance man to come and fix things that should have been fixed BEFORE I rented the place .I rolled up an area rug that was a trip hazard . When I did all kinds of dirt fell out . I had to move the couch and it was filthy underneath. I then started to look under and behind things and found lots of dirt . The place hasn’t been cleaned properly in some time . There are tiles on the floor that have broken and popped loose with sharp edges in one of the bedrooms . There is a light on the back of the massage parlor , that is directly behind the house , that flashes on and off all night . The cleaning tools are all broken and piled in a corner . Mop bucket broken . Vacuum is like a child’s toy . Backyard was all shut down .It could be a GREAT place for a gang of drunks . I could go on and on butI can’t
