Could've been so much better
I got an email after the "availability" to cancel saying that the restaurant was closed so there'd be no breakfast offered. They were remodeling in several areas. The pool and indoor spa were also closed. The floor I was on had a horrible smell in the hallway. The room itself was nice, but I gagged in the hallway.
The rooms smelled like urine. The bathroom looked like rotten wood trim that was just painted over and not fixed along them bottom. The indoor pool area was closed for remodeling but wasn’t indicated on anything, that was a reason we picked this one close to the venue we needed by.
The experience while staying here was unbelievable. The hotel was in no condition to be open and I was not notified of it being in the middle of renovations. When we arrived the hotel looked deserted. The room had bugs, the water from the shower had to be ran for 10 minutes because it was black. There was a hole in the wall where the bathroom vent should be and the chair in the room was broken. Didn’t know until I fell out of it!! Refund you say? I couldn’t get one because I didn’t book with the hotel directly! I was stuck, disappointed and scared!
I checked out from this hotel in 1 hour. I wanted it to shower, but the water didn't work. It had a horrible smell in the room. AC in the room wasn't cooling properly. The lobby was very, very HOT. It seemed like the AC wasn't working. Very bad experience.
Unpleasant odor in lobby and elevator. Man at front desk was rude and unprofessional. Bathroom and shower not properly cleaned. Property is outdated and should just close until renovations are complete.
