Self-Catering: Only initial supplies provided (toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, tea, coffee), guest supply their own on extended stays. Bedding and Towels are provided, but please bring your own beach/lake towels.
Guests have exclusive use of the home, including access to 2 bedrooms, all located on the ground floor. An additional toilet is available on the upper level. The remaining bedrooms on the upper level are locked and not accessible as part of this booking. Guests also have exclusive use of the private jetty for boat or jet ski mooring. Please note that garage access is not included.

Lake Hood is Canterbury`s prestigious recreational location with a Lake purpose built for watersports and public reserves ideal for gatherings, BBQ`s, lakeside walks, and local events. There is a public boat ramp, a 9 Hole golf course on the edge of the Lake, a Lakeside Restaurant and Bar, and is only 8 mins drive from Ashburton Township.
There are two security cameras on the property. Both of these cameras face outwards of the property and are not present inside the property. The cameras must not be removed, covered, or adjusted at any time.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to fill out our check-in form where you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your licence/passport before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.
