We've all had to take a chance on these listings being accurate when visitng a new place. I've had my fair share of bad choices after the listing has not represented the hotel/motel well at all. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH OCEAN SURF INN!! I am so happy about our stay. Everything was exactly as listed and even better were things I had no idea about. The property is described and pictured exactly how it is in reality. The staff is amazing and the manager Shaun was so helpful! They had plenty of beach towels and beach toys we could borrow for the beach, which was something we couldnt bring with us since we had just returned from a cruise vacation and were still very far from home. The top deck is super comfy with amazing views, and the room had all the sanitary items we needed to stay clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was fresh pancakes out on the top deck in the sun. The lower parking garage is where you enter/exit the building in the evening and it is very well lit and not sketchy at all. The back alleys felt safe walking at night and had an overall safe vibe. I cant say enough about this place and how happy we were to stay here. The beach really is right across the street!! Thank you Ocean Surf Inn for being an excellent choice and value!!

The beds smelled of mold and the host tried to cover it up with scented cleaners. We told him the room was smelly but he said there's was no option except rooms for Adults Only. We slept poorly and left as soon as we got up. .

This is a motor hotel. my five stars are based on that. Ralph the manager made some food recommendations; restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel has quick walkable access to the beach, and the lobby has towels, toys and chairs. Nice upper and mid-level decks, outdoor shower. The room was large, and the shower was hot and powerful.

Not sure why this place got so many “outstanding” reviews. It’s average at best. Check in was OK, but lobby seemed really cluttered. Lots of dust on the window sill, which is obvious when you’re climbing up the stairs. Once we got to our room, it was pretty tired and beat up. Missing baseboards, missing trim around the door, fixtures pretty old. We had to exchange 2 of our pillowcases due to stains (small but there). The heater was super noisy so we just turned it off. I also don’t like places that don’t have fitted sheets. Glad I had black socks, because the floor was pretty dirty. And In hindsight, we shouldn’t have booked the economy room. Window opened up to a hallway, so had to keep the curtains closed so it felt like a dungeon. We went to the garage to check out the laundry room and it was tiny and dirty - just gross. We ended up going to a laundromat. This hotel looks like they tried to fix some of it up, but they just fell short. I would give them a 6/10…

We absolutely LOVE staying at Ocean Surf Inn and Suites!!! Shaun is amazing too! Fresh pancakes in the morning if you like and the views are beautiful. Very accessible and convenient. The beds and pillows are like clouds and the roof top is a fun place to chill.

The property is nice and has a quirky fun style. However, is located both a block from the ocean and abuts the highway. Could hear motorcycles and loud trucks all night.
