I was informed that this property will be charging for parking. This is not a specialized hotel nor does it have covered parking so why would they start charging for parking? Nothing on the property would demand paying for parking.

Everything was nice and clean. The only discomfort was in the hallway. Maybe an air conditioner was broken, but they hallways were pretty warm.

Great quality hotel, consistent with Hampton Inn experience. Would prefer a lighter weight blanket included on the bed. Having just a top sheet and heavy comforter was a bit too heavy for a good nights sleep.

The toilet got clogged. We asked for a plunger, which they brought. However, it was too small to cover the entire hole of the toilet so it wouldn’t do anything. We called again to ask and were told they were too busy and didn’t know when they could get to us. We had to go get food for our kids. We called when we got back and they said they’d called our room while we were gone to switch our room, but we didn’t answer. Now they were sold out and had no way to fix the toilet. No maintenance or other plunger that works on their toilets. They offered no solution and barely a rude apology. We spent the night with no working toilet with two small kids. We had to go downstairs to the lobby to use the restroom. Luckily it was just a quick overnight stay.

Dogs off leash -UNSAFE!

The evening desk clerk on duty had no regard to enforce the leash pet policy. Two dogs off leash came running after us in the main lobby. Tim, the desk clerk never spoke up when I told the owner of the 2 off leash dogs to put his dogs on a leash. The man told me "Come on man." This is unsafe not to mention against the Hampton Inn policy and is unacceptable. Tim, who witnessed the interchange should have intervenned. I contacted the GM and she stated that Tim did speak with the owner of the dogs later and gave him a warning. That is fine but Tim should have immediately intervened. The policy posted at their check in clearly states dogs MUST BE ON LEASHES.
