The location of the property on the shore of Lake Erie was fantastic. I was driving cross country and wished I could stay more than one night. Highly recommend.

The way it used to be

This charming motel was everything we didn’t know we were looking for. A beautiful small private access to lake Eerie. Found beach glass while the kids played in the water. A lovely pool to sit beside. Beautifully mornings sitting on the balcony while sipping coffee and watching deer and bald eagles move about tge area.

We were a bit disappointed in the overall experience.We arrived on a rainy night after a seven hour drive with no communication from Todd as to how to check in to our unit even after messaging him. Fortunately, we found the key taped to the closed office door and we were able to get into our room. The layout of the place is great with plenty of room and the bed we slept in (main area) was super comfy. The VRBO, itself is in an absolutely gorgeous location. The primary issue was that the bathroom was absolutely filthy. The rest of the living area was perfectly fine. We did mention the condition of the room to Todd and he was appreciative of being informed. He also apologized for not responding to our message regarding check in, so hopefully, going forward others will have a better experience.
