Situated on a remote mountainside, Elevation 40 Zion is surrounded by the captivating wildlife of Southern Utah. From majestic bighorn sheep roaming the slopes to lively squirrels, chipmunks, and even the occasional desert hare, there's always a chance to spot something remarkable. Guests might catch glimpses of soaring hawks and eagles overhead or, with a little luck, hear the distant calls of coyotes as dusk settles.

To reach the cabin, guests must have a 4x4 vehicle with both high and low range. The route includes rugged mountain terrain designed for true four-wheel-drive vehicles only, and standard all-wheel-drive models will not make it. This ensures you can enjoy a smooth and confident drive all the way to this one-of-a-kind retreat.

Due to the cabin's remote location, smaller creatures native to the area, such as mountain mice and woodrats, may occasionally find their way into the vicinity. While we take measures to limit their presence indoors, these visits are part of the wilderness experience. Guests may wish to take a few simple precautions, like securing food items and keeping exterior doors closed to maintain the comfortable balance of nature and convenience that makes this retreat so unique.

This cabin offers its guests a hot tub, barbecue grills, and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
