Good location,nice pool.

Pros: Location and pool.
Cons: Pool bar needs a lot of attention! Furniture in rooms and eating area the same.Attention to detail needed across the board.Safe needs to be bolted to
Location: Hvar is lovely, lots of water based recreation available and many good restaurants and bars. Not great in the rain though, sadly.
Pharos hotel is generally very average for the price, however it is in reasonable walking distance to the town downhill with a nice pool. Rooms are basic and minimal and wardrobe area is not sufficient. Bathroom and shower are a good size and toiletries are replaced daily.Towels could be larger. There is a small safe but interestingly it is not fixed and could easily be taken away. The breakfast area feels and looks like a student canteen and the plastic chairs are appallingly noisy when moved on hard floor. The food is varied but average and is not replenished frequently enough. Prepared fruit is minimal. English tea is pretty much unavailable most days, all a bit luck of the draw. Nice big pool with lots of sunbeds. The pool bar was not usable because it was not staffed at all, just opened up to put on some music then left empty all day and evening. Bean bags were available around pool but were horribly marked and dirty. Pool beds were comfortable but no towels supplied. Cocktails in bar are basic! Mojito with lemon and no mint? I don't consider ' happy hour' to be 20% off either. All a bit basic and average I'm afraid!

Das Hotel musste zwei Mal umgebucht werden, so dass ich am Schluss im Amfora landete, ein gutes Hotel. Bedienung und Einrichtung sind sehr gut, die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern ist ok.
