The first room I was in, was perfect except for the broken fridge. We had to move into the room next door because in there, the fridge worked but the room looked smaller and the drawers were dirty with stains and hair. The shower had half a door so there was water going onto the floor. The temperature kept changing from extremely hot to cold. The thermostat did not work well. The first room had better heating when it was set to 75 but in the second room, it was still cold at 75 degrees. I didn’t want to cause more trouble for the staff since Michael helped with the room change, probably not knowing the second room was bad. The breakfast staff were so nice to me. I think it was Salim who kept checking in to see if we were ok and gave me a to go box. There was an issue with my credit card where they couldn’t charge my credit card. When I called Chase, they stated the hotel didn’t enter in the pin and that’s why the charge declined. I had to use another card to pay which frustrated me. Overall, the hotel looks very nice but there were so many issues.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the front desk staff and one of the gentlemen providing the breakfast service. The hotel is beautiful and warm and inviting. The hotel room was spacious. The hotel is close to shopping and eateries. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 was the lack of housekeeping service. It was supposed to be every other day and on the 3 day no one came so I requested the room to be cleaned and asked the front desk personnel twice and plus a housekeeping personnel. We took time to prepare for the cleaning and took our dogs out for hours and came back and the room still hadn't been cleaned. Then I had to take time to speak with two other people to get the room cleaned. It rained that following day and we had to take our dogs out in the rain for the room to be cleaned. It put a damper on our vacation getting bathroom tissue and other essentials from the front desk and throwing out the garbage, because of the lack of housekeeping and then having to plan for housekeeping on a rainy day and having to speak with four people to get it done. That part didn't feel like a vacation. Outside of that it was a great stay and I would recommend it.
