The host cancelled when I landed in Tenerife

Apparently the flat is managed by a person who double booked it. When I landed in Tenerife alone in high season, my booking was cancelled and I had to find an alternative on my own. It was the first and last time I will use Vrbo.

Appartement sympa et bien situé pour visiter l’île côté mer et côté montagne. Propriétaire à l’écoute et de bons conseils. Nous avons passé une semaine en famille fin octobre sous le soleil de Ténérife très agréable

Bien mais propreté à améliorer

Nous avons passé un séjour contrasté dans ce bel appartement. Les + : Localisation, le centre ville est tout proche et même si cela monte pour rentrer chez soi, on s'y sent bien avec une superbe vue, depuis l'appartement mais aussi depuis la terrasse partagée juste au dessus. Procédure d'arrivée très bonne avec vidéos pour accompagner et décrire les lieux. Appartement bien ventilé avec les ouvertures et moustiquaires à toute les fenêtres Les - : propreté d'ensemble (pas d'aspirateur pour un logement loué un mois c'est pas bon) donc poussière constamment dans le logement, si vous voulez que ce soit propre il faut passer par le gestionnaire qui fera passer quelqu'un et malheureusement, c'est pas mieux fait après Literie un peu ferme pour nous, cela reste équipé avec du IKEA d'entrée de gamme, prévoir des sur-matelas éventuellement pour monter en gamme Malheureusement nous avons un dégât des eaux, qui nous a pénalisé durant le séjour (gros travaux - changement de plomberie avec mur à casser - donc poussière & gravats dans le logement) Dans l'ensemble géré par le gestionnaire de l'appartement, mais cela nous a immobilisé quelques jours afin d'être surplace Enfin un message pour la plateforme Abritel/Vrbo qui n'a pas été d'une grande aide, nous ne repasserons pas eux, car en cas de soucis, soit vous gérer vous même, soit vous n'aurez rien.

Très belle expérience !!!

Nous avons passés 10 jours fantastiques à Ténérife début avril. L'appartement est très agréable et correspond tout à fait à l'annonce. La propriétaire Matija est très disponible pour répondre par message aux questions et a prévu de belles petites attentions pour notre arrivée. La vue sur la ville d'Icod, la mer et El Teide à l'arrière depuis le toit terrasse juste au dessus de l'appartement est magnifique ; nous y avons mangé tous les jours. L'appartement est situé au dernier étage d'un petit immeuble de 4 niveaux. La montée quotidienne des escaliers ne nous a pas gêné. Nous avons toujours pu garer notre véhicule loué (fortement conseillé pour découvrir l'île) au pied de l'immeuble. Icod est une belle petite ville très peu touristique (ce qui nous a plu), accrochée à la montagne et très pentue. La mer n'est pas si proche, nous sommes descendus une fois à pied mais c'est long et fatiguant depuis l'appartement et donc pas très réaliste. Nos coups de coeur : playa del Socorro, le village de Masca, Charco del Viento (piscine naturelle d'eau de mer, nous y avons pratiqué un peu de snorkeling), la Orotava petite ville près de Puerto de la Cruz et bien sûr le sublime parc national el Teide. Nous avons moins aimé certaines parties très touristiques au sud- ouest même si le soleil y est permanent et la température plus élevée. Bref si vous souhaitez découvrir Ténérife, sa nature, son authenticité, un peu à l'écart des zones trop touristes, cet appartement et sa localisation sont top !
