Summit Haus earns its name. Access to the home requires navigating a steep driveway and a substantial staircase.



On-site parking is available for guests comfortable driving up the steep driveway. Guests who prefer not to drive up the driveway may park on the street, but will still need to walk up the driveway and climb the staircase to reach the home.



Please review the listing photos carefully and ensure all members of your group are comfortable navigating steep terrain and stairs before booking.

Due to the steep hillside setting, staircase, elevated outdoor areas, and terrain surrounding the home, Summit Haus is not suitable for children under 8 years old.

On-site parking is available at the top of the driveway for guests comfortable driving up a steep grade. Guests who prefer not to drive up the driveway may park on the street, but will need to walk up the steep driveway and then climb the staircase to reach the home.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes from the heart of downtown Idyllwild.



Getting Around:

You will need a car to enjoy your time at Summit Haus in Idyllwild. The town has no Ubers or Taxis.

Please consider the steep staircase and driveway when deciding whether this property is a good fit for you. We want everyone who stays at Summit Haus to have a wonderful experience.

We give our guests space but are available when needed. We are available to communicate for any questions or concerns from 8 am to 10 pm. For a medical emergency or fire please call 911.
