My family only stayed for one night, but we will definitely be back for a longer stay, because we all fell in love with the accommodations! There was so much to do all in one place and were were able to bring our puppy along too, which was a bonus!

Awesome Place!

It was a family trip and we all had a great time! It was cold but even the trip going to Tahquitz in Idyllwild was fun. Experiencing the cliff, scary but it’s all worth it. We love the cabin. The place was homey, clean and furnitures are updated. It was a peaceful and restful weekend. We’ll surely be back!

Not the most comfortable hotel room stay

Our hotel room had one of those adjoining doors to the neighboring room, which had zero sound insulation between the rooms. I woke up at 2:30 AM because my neighbors were talking. They weren’t even speaking loudly, but I could almost make out what they were saying and I couldn’t get back to sleep. Not being able to sleep in a hotel is a dealbreaker for me. The thermostat in the room also did not seem to control the heater. The room stayed at a constant 75° even when we turned the thermostat all the way down to 65. We ended up having to leave the window open to lower the temperature. The room seemed clean enough, except!! the fabric shower curtain in our bathroom had visible pink mold on the bottom edge that stank when it got wet. It must have been months since it was last washed. Like a gross campsite shower. That made me worry that maybe I should’ve worn slippers in the shower… Seems like these issues could be fixed easily with gaskets around the door, washing shower curtain with bleach, fixing the thermostat. Aside from all the issues with our particular room, the property seemed well kept and cute with lots of activities to keep you busy. I might stay again, but definitely not in a hotel room. Maybe a cabin next time.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our cabin was a converted hanger, clean and nicely decorated. The grounds are lovely and have it all, pickleball courts, a chapel, a pool, and a restaurant. We really enjoyed trying some local places in town instead of eating at the restaurant every meal, but it is convenient. My only qualms were 1. No hottub (at least that i found), 2. Sun filled room early am bcs lack of thick shades. That being said i would stay here again.

Cabins are beautiful and always clean. Restaurant service terrible. Server walk right over gave us a menue and was ready to take our order, we asked for a couple of minutes, he walked past many times on his way to collect signed checks [5checks). Nn eyes cintact and then made us wait extremely long to take our order. I received my food but my boyfriend did not. The side of potatoes was very cold and dry..servers answer "ok". No apologies, didn't offer removal from check or replacement... gave me wrong information on how the food was cooked.. manager confirmed and i was able to eat it. Will not return to restaurant again. Tahquitd is beautiful amd Rachel , front desk was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Thank you.

The property was large enough to walk around and I liked that there were a lot of different activities. The negative was it was a bit loud at night and the shower needs to be remodeled. The heater would not turn off and the bathroom was super cold like it was missing insulation. It was so cold outside that a hot tub would have been nice. For it to be a retreat it would of been nice to have a sauna or stream room.

Great place! Very clean, lots of amenities including a rec room, a huge pool, pickleball and more. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained. The Peak restaurant is great as well. We like it so much, we extended our stay.

I can’t say it was a horrible hotel. It looks clean, towels are clean too. It just small things that upset me 1. The only streaming app on TV is YouTube and you can’t download others. 2. AC buttons don’t work well, you have to hard push them. 3. No fireplace or bbq grill - I should check it upfront, but based on experience to stay at other hotels in idyllwild I thought they have it. So it’s more like point for grow than complain from my side
