room was in good condition and staff were very friendly, only complaint is about lack of amenities for breakfast, really poor coffee maker in room, no onsite breakfast options or food options before 11am when restaurant opens. No ice service when restaurant not open. Better coffee maker in room with better quality coffee would be great along with coffee in the lobby and maybe some simple breakfast foods that could be microwaved? Simple solutions for the price we paid would be great. Beautiful grounds and would love to have a family reunion get away there if there were more food options without driving into town.

We loved the cabin the property and the staff was so kind . Only thing I would say the closet in the bedroom had a black pair of socks so it had not been properly cleaned . The pull out bed in living room also had money change which made us think it had not been cleaned . Towels in the bathroom had a strange odor and the tv in the bunk bed room was not working . Staff was quick and replaced with another tv for the kids . Overall I would stay here again just be careful on the cleanliness . The restaurant on site is so convenient and yummy food . We appreciate all the activities for kids. Loved that the cabin had a full kitchen that was helpful . Beautiful views just a very pleasant stay .

Everything was perfect! The room we stayed in was absolutely perfect! Very new and staff was amazing. Loved the peak restaurant. Everything was wonderful! I can’t wait to go again and stay in the little gem up in Idlewild. Thank you for the great memories and fantastic experience.

What a fantastic stay! The staff were extremely courteous, the room was spacious and clean, and the resort had plenty to do. One caveat would have been the rooms had a little too thin of walls and can hear my neighbors pretty clearly. Outside of that, it was a lovely stay.

Overall it was a good stay. It’s our third year coming to Tahquitz but the first time in a different cottage. It was spacious and they had some kitchen essentials which I appreciated. My kids love staying there and I love the surrounding views and how calming it is. The only issue I had for the first time was that most of the bigger towels left in the bathrooms smelled really bad. Luckily, there were more towels in the outdoor closets so were able to use those instead. This doesn’t deter me from coming back so hopefully this gets addressed when cleaning up in the future.

We chose the two-bedroom Quonset hut for our stay, and we were not disappointed. Everything was neat, tidy, clean, and comfortable. We tend to have very high standards for accommodations, and Tahquitz Pines did not disappoint. Very unique atmosphere, both inside and out. We were able to both enjoy the room and relax between outings and have easy access to the surrounding region for exploring and relaxing outdoors. Our contact with management at check-in and beyond was very interactive, pleasant, and helpful. We can highly recommend Tahquitz Pines Retreat to those who wish to relax and enjoy outdoors. Cheers!
