No need to drive - the beach is across the road & the General Store & bottle shop a few paces away! The house is directly opposite the sought after Half Moon Bay & PS Ozone - you can’t get much closer than this! Enjoy a bbq on the balcony while you take in the breathtaking views of Port Philip Bay & the Melbourne city skyline. The popular towns of St Leonards & Portarlington are a short drive or there’s a bus stop right out the front.

The space
The view & location is key with this property. Just cross the road and you are at the beach at the location of the Ozone shipwreck. The house is old & simple, but comfortable. Upstairs you will find a full kitchen, dining & living area, 3 bedrooms & a bathroom. The main bedroom has a queen bed & a TV. The second bedroom has a bunk bed (lower double & upper single) & the third bedroom has a queen bed. Downstairs there is an open area in one room containing another queen bed & a bunk bed (double on the bottom, single on the top), couch & T.V. There’s another seperate toilet & a laundry with a shower. There’s another open space with a games room containing a ping pong table, a couch & tv with gaming consoles. The balcony upstairs is where you will want to spend your time! There is a bbq and a pit boss smoker bbq on the balcony. Most importantly, you can enjoy magnificent views of the bay & the Melbourne city skyline on a clear day! There’s also a large enclosed backyard for kids & dogs alike. There’s a large lock up garage with a high roller door to keep your boat or car secure. There’s also space for another 3-4 cars off-street in the front & rear yards.

We absolutely loved our stay at Half Moon Haven. The home was immaculately clean on arrival and beautifully presented. The location was outstanding — we spent so much time at the beach just across the road. A highlight being borrowing the kayaks and exploring the Ozone Shipwreck. Our children loved the layout of the house with a games room and kids sleeping zone down stairs and they especially loved the easy walk to the general store to select an ice-cream. The adults loved having a drink on the balcony in the evening and early morning walks along the beach (there is a great bike riding track for kids). The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the house was thoughtfully equipped with every amenity you could possibly need. A perfect week spent in Indented Head. Communication with Bec and Pete was excellent. We would happily stay again and look forward to another stay in the future.
