We were there for the Grand Nats band competition, it was very close to the Lucas Oil Stadium. The staff was wonderful and the hotel was nice and clean. It was right next to a club so Saturday night was a bit loud but it didn’t bother us. Highly recommend, we had a wonderful stay. Close proximity to lots of great restaurants!

Room was spotless and silent. Great place at middle of downtown.
I would surely book with Aloft Indianapolis Downtown again not only because my comfort needs were met, but the hotel is within distance of things of interest to me in Indianapolis, and I felt taken care of. It also made my day to encounter the receptionists, who congratulated me once I arrived after completing CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Half Marathon.
The hotel staff was amazing. Like many others, we had been bumped around on flights but when I asked just to hold my luggage at the front desk (because we came before check in) they said they could get us in our room at 930am!
Now- there was a bar right next door that played loud music till after 3am. The first night I didn’t notice because I was soooo tired but the second night I could not get to sleep till after 3am. Also the bar was not the most classy bar and it was not somewhere I felt safe walking around. When you have several cops working a contract there or assigned a beat there- it’s probably a little sketchy to say the least. Wish the hotel offered more of a breakfast but the lobby bar and family games made up for it.
I had paid up front for my room for 4 days for a conference. Got to the hotel after midnight and they had said I was a no show and they resold my room. I asked to speak to the manager and they refused to call the manager. Then I asked them what I was supposed to do now and they said I needed to leave or they would call the police.which they did and I ended up having to go to another hotel or get arrested for trespassing. Needless to say don't trust this hotel.
This hotel was adorable! I enjoyed being able to walk everywhere because of its convenient location. The staff was incredibly welcoming each time I walked through the lobby. This will be my first choice for trips to Indy.
