The hotel was spotlessly clean, the night manager (Elija?) was incredibly welcoming and engaging when we checked in, the beds were extremely comfortable (I loved the pillows), and the complimentary breakfast was honestly the best I've ever had in a hotel -- fresh eggs, delicious sausage, everything hot and fresh. Very friendly staff in the morning as well.

The place is old and it shows. Poor water pressure on third floor and shower head didn’t spray well. Beds were hard but the room was clean overall. Breakfast was good—having an actual fresh omelette station was a surprise. Front desk staff were very nice, although check in was painfully long. They charged a $2.99 environment fee which wasn’t listed on Expedia but was disclosed on the signature sheet.

We checked in and the gentleman was very helpful. He recommended a restaurant next door, and we were very happy with both meals. Things went downhill after that. I went to use the toilet and one of the bolts was loose so the toilet wobbled. The walls must be paper thin as we could hear what sounded like a party in the hall but there wasn't one there. Other reviews said the breakfast was great, but it was not. The coffee machine was not working properly and overfilled the cups they had. The sausage was burnt, the eggs looked awful. The waffle machine made a decent waffle but everything else was prepackaged and did not look very appetizing. Not a good experience. We definitely would not stay there again.
