Helmsburg Station pays tribute to the history of its quaint location as the original direct route from Indianapolis to Brown County via the railroad line. From Helmsburg, the rest of the route to Nashville was by horse and wagon or by foot.

Off the Beaten Path

Beautiful place - wish we could have stayed longer! It was my husband and I, our three daughters and my parents. Everyone had their own place to sleep and there was so much to do on the property. Loved it!

Friends Get Away

Great property to enjoy a couple days away with friends. Easy drive into Nashville, IN for cute shops and restaurants. Owners are very accommodating and great to work with. House had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Lovely outdoor area

The cabin was in a great location for proximity to Nashville and brown county state park. The cabin was very nice. The backyard with fire pit and cornhole was very fun. Our issues were that the kitchen had no place for storage of food we brought and the pans and cooking utensils weren’t great for the number of guests. These were minor inconveniences and not a reason we would not revisit. Also we had to call the host for a tech issue and she responded very quickly.

30 flirty and thriving birthday bash

My daughters 30th birthday party with 8 of the closest women in here life. The cabin was so beautiful and the yard was absolutely incredible. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. Everything you need to prepare dinner in the kitchen, we enjoyed the lower level of the house most with all the games. Thank you for making this trip amazing

Perfect for a Girls Trip

This home was perfect for our girls trip! It was only a 15-ish minute drive from Nashville shops, wineries, and restaurants. We were very impressed with how clean it was. The back area with patio, string lights, and fire pit was so cozy. Would definitely stay again!

This property is noticeably levels above. It is meticulously maintained and cared for by the owners. Attention to detail embracing its' RR history is amazing. Adorable property!

We stayed here with a family group for 3 days. The house has wonderful outdoor spaces on a porch, a lower patio and the back yard with a covered porch and fire pit. While the house was small, the outdoor spaces gave us plenty of room to spread out and be together! The location is right on a very busy road, so you have to be ok with the road noise. But the house was very well equipped and maintained. Highly recommended!

The modern train station vibe was adorable! This was perfect for a girls trip. We loved the layout! We had several inches of snow which looked beautiful on the trees. Easy access to downtown Nashville. Will definitely come again!

The house was updated, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The outdoor areas were amazing (hot tub, fire pit, covered porches). We were there in December and the firehouse across the street had a huge Christmas decorated area you could walk through. We were close to the main strip, so it was convenient. Our stay was perfect!

Couples Trip!

We are all newlyweds and wanted to start a new yearly tradition of us going on a trip together. I had stayed at this location once before for a bachelorette party and knew that this would be a great spot to start our tradition based on the wonderful experience I had the last time. Family/Birthday vacation

This house was beautiful and the property was wonderful. The hosts were very helpful and thought of everything. Fun activities to do inside and out. Very clean, lots of room. We had ten of us there. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. We would love to come back sometime.
