Highlights of My Family Lodge in Indy Hotel

First, the name we saw on the front of the building was not "Indy!" The lobby was being redesigned. It took almost half of our stay before the rooms started cooling. We were told they just turned off the heat! The hotel might need more workers to make sure the rooms (and hallways) especially reserved rooms are double-checked and retouched before the arrival of the guests. Moreover, the check-in and check-out procedures weren't cumbersome. The prices are fairly good.

This was the worst experience ever. First off the air conditioning was broke. Second I paid in full and they made me pay a security, which I still waiting to be reimbursed. They area is s little shady!

Bed bugs

The room was filthy we didn’t stay but one hour due to finding bed bugs. The room was trashed with food and empty cups found behind the bed and roaches came out the fridge when opened. Their was burn marks on the wall and tobacco clusters on the ceiling the vents were dusty and the filters were clogged their was rips in the furniture and nothing was cleaned off at all

Was very surprised with how amazing the room was. They had a water main break on the first floor but stuff happens that you can’t control. All in all very impressed by the quality and price. Very fair for the price.

This was a last minute trip and we knew it wouldn’t be the best hotel given the price. We just needed a bed to stay in. We couldn’t get the heat to turn off or down. We were in a sauna all night. Honestly was just going to let it be…until I opened the toilet lid the next morning to be greeted by A BABY COCKROACH!! I grew up on a farm and know a baby cockroach when I see one. I immediately killed it in toilet paper and flushed it. I woke up my partner and told them what happened. We couldn’t check out of there fast enough!! Spent the whole day paranoid that I had bugs on me or in my belongings. Price is good. But will NEVER stay again.
