The first room had mold in the tub and toilet ran. Moved to another room had lots of rust and mold in the tub. Food was just Luke warm hot water for drinks not really even warm. I asked for towels and they were not given so I had to go down and get myself. Vaccum was not ran and bathroom floor not swept and trash no emptied so I did trash and made the bed. Now front desk employees were friendly. Food area was pulled early 4 of the days and coffee was lacking as well. I was not impressed and will not stay in a Wingate again.

Carpeted areas on 3rd floor stained and not vacuumed. After first night, had to go to front desk for things that should have been replenished daily (example: coffee cups). Trash was removed daily, so something was being done.

Check in was swift and easy since I completed the process online ahead of time. We had to switch rooms, as room 107 had an ammonia smell (think cat urine) to it, the dresser was in disrepair, and the sofa was stained and falling apart. We were moved to room 201 with no issue. There was no over powering smell, but the carpet is in major need of a deep cleaning or replacement. The sofa was stained, so we placed the extra sheets over it to make a barrier. The tub was slow draining - it puddled at your feet while showering. We only stayed 2 days, so let the staff know about the tub upon checking out. We visit Indy regularly, but won't return to stay here.

Cleanliness is a big concern for this Hotel

The hotel was not clean at all. We were there for three days and there was trash sitting on the table in front of the elevator on the third floor the entire time. The floors had not been vacuumed in the hallways and the walls in the elevator obviously had not been wiped down in quite a while with handprints and what looked like slobber all over them. Outside by the cigarette ashtray was a towel on the ground the entire time we were there, right in front of the front entrance way. We also found a roach in our room by the coffee maker, needless to say we did not use it. The hot tub was disgusting with some kind of film and debris in the water. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
