For some reason, every night between 3 & 4 am, my room phone rang with a wake up call. I told the front desk but they couldn’t stop it from happening. The front desk said it happened to other rooms also. I was staying there for a work trip and my wife was nursing a bad cold, so it was very nerve wracking, not to mention disturbing our sleep. Something needs to be done by way of compensation for the lost sleep and aggravation.

Many nice features but fell short of expectations

There were good things and not-so-good things about this Wyndham property. All of the staff that we encountered were VERY friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and appeared to have been renovated fairly recently, altho the furniture was mis-matched. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard. Overall, the property was in need of quite a bit of maintenance. For example, the 3 elevators seemed to work only on a rotating basis, and I got caught in a stairwell between the 1st and 2nd floors because the doorknobs didn't work. The fitness facility did not appear to have been cleaned in a while, it was tidy but equipment was sticky.

Stinky Hot Room with bad Plumbing

First off the front desk staff were not very welcoming. Got to our room and noticed there was a mildew smell and it was a little warm. We turned down the thermostat and it was not working. It was very hot and uncomfortable all night long. The thermostat just did not work. Next thing was the plumbing was all messed up in the bathroom. The toilet did not flush all the way and the bath tub did not drain. The water had an awful smell as well. The pillows are rock hard and I booked a room with 2 queen size beds, those beds had to have been full size beds. I mentioned all of this to the front desk staff when checking out but the gentleman didn’t seem to care or apologize. I did read the reviews before booking ahead of time and thought this hotel was an ok choice but I will not be returning. Next time I will pay more for a better room and better service. You pay for what you get.

Overall good for the money

I came there for a convention and the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff was great. There were a few things about the room, that were more annoyances that they'll probably get fixed, like the toilet running continuously and the refrigerator making noise. The thing that was pretty terrible that the hotel may not have any control over was the poor service at the hotel restaurant. It just seemed understaffed and just kind of lackadaisical waitstaff. My group just ended up doing dinner and breakfast at some really great family owned restaurants to save us some time.
