Called Marina Motel to confirm reservation two weeks after. Expedia confirmed my reservation. Proprietor didn't know anything about my reservation, very confusing to me. When I called to ask about an early check in, I was asked if I wanted the king bed I booked thru Expedia. I said yes.It seems my king room had been double booked. I was charged full price the Expidea price was not honored.Upon arriving home I texted motel about this but have not received a reply 1 week later

This is a really lovely motel in a fantastic location. Just steps from everything in town. Spotlessly clean, perfectly kept, generous continental breakfast. Staff and owners are lovely. The only negative is that air conditioning doesn't sufficiently cool the room on a very warm day. Otherwise, 10/10.

We spent the weekend snowshoeing and cross country skiing at Fern Park. The park is a short drive from the motel. Great restaurants were within walking distance from the motel. The owners were very friendly, offered a great breakfast and kept the parking lot and sidewalks clear of snow during a snowstorm.

Up until this past weekend, its been 20yrs since I stayed at this motel. Its just as clean and well maintained as it was back then. Great location for snowmobilers. Located in a ridable road, easy access to trails as well as the lake.
