Luxury Scottish Highland Country House with large private gardens by Inverness

Peaceful, warm and comfortable property in countryside with wildlife in garden. Very safe environment with 5 bedrooms, 2 of which are family rooms, sleeps up to 14 guests comfortably. Can sleep extra 2 guests in fold down beds suitable for small adults or children. There are 2 cots for infants. The master suite bedroom consists of a large super king, four poster bed, with a partition adjoining 2 single beds with 2 armchairs tv and large ensuite bathroom consisting of walk in shower and large bath with double sinks and wc. The other family room consists of 2 double beds and sofa and ensuite shower room. There are three other ensuite bedrooms each with a king size bed One of the king size bedrooms is on the ground floor with ensuite facilities and suitable for less mobile guests. Wheelchair friendly. The cosy living room has a woodburning stove with logs supplied and 3 comfy couches and armchairs to watch tv and relax. Large modern fitted kitchen with two fridges and 2 freezers, 2 ovens, large hob, coffee machine and double dishwashers. The dining area has a large hand made local timber table which seats 16. There's a utility room with belfast sink and washer/dryer. Great outdoor, covered dining space with barbecue. Large lawns and gardens. Free parking up to 6 cars Perfect for family gatherings, golfers, special occasions. Mountain Views and hill walks nearby. 10 minute drive to Inverness and late opening supermarkets. 20 min walk to local grocery shop. Especially suited as a base for Highland cycling with safe storage available for bikes. Nearby fishing, walking, with panoramic views of the surrounding Highland countryside and Glen. Very comfy beds with a guaranteed good night sleep. The night sky is perfect for star gazing after spotting red squirrels and deer in garden at dusk. A short drive to Inverness and Loch Ness with lots to see and do including boat trips, whiskey tours, Culloden Battlefield, Outlander standing stones, daytrips to Isle of Skye and North Coast 500.

Lovely home, clean and tidy on arrival. Beautiful area if you are looking for a rural retreat. Given it was the festive/new year period, the house had lovely festive touches, which was appreciated. Will definitely be back.

A group of 7 family and friends from various places in Scotland and England stayed at Cardon House as a good place to get together.It's a lovely house and very comfortable and spacious! Wish we were staying longer. Some stunning scenery in the area and saw a red squirrel in the garden! Did not meet Caroline the host in person but spoke on the phone a couple of times, she was very helpful and friendly.Thoroughly recommend this place for a group of up to 12.

We had a great stay at thw Cardon house.Loads of room and very functional for a large family group.Rooms bright and cheery and bathrooms large and well laid out.Easy access to taxis and close to Inverness.Lovely kitchen and lots of room to eat or family card games.A wonderful house.

Beautiful property close to Inverness

My family and I enjoyed our time at Caroline's beautiful and spacious home. The home is equipped with everything you can imagine, and Caroline was a wonderful host. We were celebrating my mother's 80th birthday, and Caroline was so lovely to remember this detail - she made the stay extra special for my mom and our family. We look forward to returning to the Scottish Highlands and staying here again in the future. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Caroline!
