With private parking, easy access to beautiful countryside walks, moments from the award winning Jimmy's Farm, and a short drive from Tattingstone and Alton Water, this tranquil hideaway is perfect for a relaxed countryside escape.
Set privately within the grounds of the owner's house, The Lodge in Wherstead provides all ground floor accommodation with a stunning decked area over looking the gardens. The kitchen has been equipped with a combination microwave and hob, and fridge with icebox so it's possible to cook a simple evening meal or enjoy a cooked breakfast. However, with so many delightful restaurants and pubs to enjoy locally, you might find yourself dining out each evening, you are on holiday after-all! The safari themed open-plan sitting and dining room has comfy seating, wall-mounted Smart television and a dining area with seating for up to two guests, and further seats can be found in the kitchen. The light and airy bedroom with wall-to-wall windows features a luxurious 6' super-king size bed which can be configured as twin 3' single beds on request - ideal for couples, two friends holidaying together or a mother-daughter duo. The Lodge boasts a contemporary shower room with large walk-in shower.
Outside, there is a large, private deck accessed through french doors in the sitting room. The deck overlooks the pretty garden and is an ideal spot for enjoying some peace and tranquillity. Parking is available for up to one car.
