Some interior steps are also required on the 1st floor to access the living areas - The homeowner's personal vacation home is next door, and homewoners may be present on the shared property. Sharing the driveway entrance. Homewoners have own seperate access point to the dock, while fully respecting your privacy.- Your safety matters. This property features 4 external security cameras. Camera 1 is a Ring doorbell camera on the front door facing the front entry. Camera 2 is located on the back balcony facing the dock and beach. Cameras 3 and 4 are located on the front corners of the home facing the front yard. These cameras are outward facing and do not look into any interior spaces; they record video when motion is detected

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The host communication was superb; when an unexpected snow storm caused us to have to reschedule, the host was accommodating and helpful in finding a new date. The house was comfortable, incredibly well appointed, and immaculate. We would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this home.

We had the best time at The Point House! The property was absolutely beautiful, well appointed, and so comfortable for our family. Weekend in Irvington

We had a great 4th of July weekend stay at Huckleberry Point! The water views were incredible and the home worked well for our group of 10. The beach and large dock are convenient for water activities and boat docking. Frances provided great hospitality and would definitely stay here again.

50thAnniversary Getaway

Our son and his husband joined my wife and I for our 50th wedding anniversary. As she has Parkinson’s and extremely low energy, I wanted a home that she could relax, read and enjoy the outdoors. This property is all that is advertised. Wonderful views of the waterways and boats are great from the tree lined decks, both upper and lower..Host communication was excellent and the local small towns have some very enjoyable eateries. If you have a boat, they have the dock along with kayaks! We all enjoyed our relaxing stay and we highly recommend it!

Great vacation

This place is ideal for family vacation. It is very well maintained with fantastic view and equipment for fun activities. It is clean, quiet and peaceful. We caught a couple of fish and crabs. Everyone had a good time.

Wonderful home on the creek

This home is in a quiet, charming neighborhood in walking distance to cute local shops and restaurants. We loved the separate gathering spaces each with a view of the creek. Different age groups were able to gather and play board games while others could quietly read because of the separate spaces. The kitchen is very well stocked. Thank you to the very communicative hosts for making our stay so comfortable.

Ladies Weekend for Urbana Oyster Festival

Beautiful, comfortably appointed spacious house for 8 ladies located on a picturesque bend of Carters Creek. This was a perfect home base for our three day fall weekend. Easy walking distance to the center of Irvington town, The Tides Inn restaurant and Spa. Short drive to Urbana for the festival and shops and restaurants in neighboring Whitestone. Gorgeous location for kayaking or paddling. All equipment on property provided by the homeowners. A fabulous weekend in a wonderful home!

The Huckleberry Point House is exactly as pictured and described--Perfect! Our group of 6 seniors spent a wonderful week there, kayaking ( four kayaks and a closet full of life jackets were there for our use), visiting Northern Neck towns and historic sites, enjoying some of the very good local restaurants, and relaxing. An unusual three days of rain from a tropical storm kept us inside a lot, but the views all around of Carter's Creek as well as the beautifully designed interior offered spaces for us to gather together for games and meals and Netflix movies and also for enjoying private times for reading when we needed alone time. The best vacation home we've rented, it is designed for visitors to simply relax, enjoy, and make great memories. .

Point House is Magnificent

The Point House is absolutely enchanting! Every room has a lovely view of the water as the house is beautifully sited with water on three sides and windows in all rooms. This was important the week we visited because it was to hot outside and we could still enjoy the water from anywhere inside. In the mornings and evenings we could sit out and watch the wildlife. All the accommodations are well designed and the kitchen has more cooking and dining supplies than you will ever need. With multiple gather spaces, we never felt crowded even with eight adults and two infants. This is a truly brilliantly designed home that is trully enhanced by the very responsive host. You will love staying here.

Absolute beauty and relaxation

You will never be able to find a more beautiful and relaxing home. This gorgeous home comes with super comfort in the beds, the livingroom, the View room, outer decks with sweet shaded breezes to make you comfortable. Wonderful experience

This is the second time our family has stayed at the Huckleberry Point House. Once again, it didn't disappoint! A wonderful and convenient location with beautiful views. Nothing beats a peaceful morning with coffee on the outside deck. The property has everything you need. The Williams family were a pleasure to work with to plan our stay. Great communication and they have done a marvelous job in making sure you have everything you need and need to know to make your vacation easy and stress free. Highly recommend and I am sure our family will choose Huckleberry Point in the future.

Birthday celebration

This property is truly lovely. It has the most beautiful vies and is tranquil and peaceful. Even though we did not have great weather, it was so pleasant just to be there. The kitchen was well equipped for those who enjoy cooking and there are numerous great reading nooks. Had the weather been better, it would have been a perfect spot for sunbathing, kayaking and grilling. We enjoyed antiquing, taking a boat ride at the Tides Inn and lattes at the Local. Perfect week end!
