Room was nice, clean and well appointed. Staff were very friendly. Easy walk to beach and city center. Had a two nice balconies with view of ocean. The pool on the roof is small but comfortable. There was no bar or food service at the pool which was a bummer. You need to go to a beach club (for cost) if you want to sun bathe on a lounger chair.

Amazing experience, price was great. Staff was incredible. My fiancé and I loved the view from the room. And we enjoyed the day with Mostaza, the lobby dog. They provided all the tour options for a great price directly from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the service was great every time. Also the view from the rooftop was incredible, drinks were great and it was a perfect spot to rest. We will definitely be returning

We stayed for 5 nights. We loved the location of the hotel, all of the amenities, and the room was both very clean and beautiful. This hotel feels like a rustic resort! It was clean and the reception staff were helpful and nice. I booked the tours they recommended and had a great time! Casa Astral is located on the quieter side of the island. It’s a bit of a walk to the “centro” but no more than 12-15 minutes to get there. The hotel isn’t directly by the water, but it is a quick 2 minute walk. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and I can’t wait to be back.

The hotel is beautiful and layout is well designed. I wouldn't recommend for families with kids under 4/5 because of stairs and the way balconies are designed. The kitchen was only stocked with pots and pans (no towels or salt/pepper). The restaurants nearby are worth several visits. The beach is probably one of the cleanest and super convenient. There's a great little food and drink spot on the next property over. Overall great spot but I think the service was too bare bones.
