Enjoy two outdoor fire pits, a private hot tub, Ooni Pizza oven & grill, arcade games, foosball, kids’ play areas, and cozy mountain nights under the stars. Just 40 minutes from Yellowstone, this rustic-meets-modern retreat is perfect for families and group adventures!

Surrounded by towering pines, Bisonhead Retreat offers three separate living spaces—each thoughtfully designed for comfort, connection, and fun. Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, sharing stories around the fire, or challenging friends to foosball and arcade games, this property was made for gathering and making memories.

Main Cabin:
- Bedroom 1 – King bed + 2 Single Beds & ensuite bathroom
- Bedroom 2 – King bed
- Loft – Queen bed + children’s play corner

-Full kitchen, laundry, and cozy living area with pine ceilings
- Wood-burning stove with stuffed bison head mantle

Detached Bunkhouse:
- 3 twin beds + futon (sleeps 5)

Moosewood Studio Loft (above garage):
- 2 queen beds + futon (sleeps 6)
- Private bathroom & kitchenette

When you book Bisonhead Retreat, you’re reserving all three buildings on the same lot—the main cabin, the detached bunkhouse, and the Moosewood Studio loft. You’ll have private access to every space and all outdoor amenities during your stay.

The property does not have air conditioning, but the fresh mountain air, ceiling fans and cool nights keep it comfortable all summer.

Roads are maintained, but AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended during fall, winter, and spring.

It was great for our multiple families staying. Each family was able to be in their own space. The kids love the amount of outside room to run around. Though I could see other cabins with the trees surrounding us we never felt like we were close to them. The area we calm and not a lot of traffic. The family loved being there and want to come back. Easy access for our boat. The water was low so we’re unable to use the dock. We just sat on the shore.
