The apartment is quietly situated in a residential neighbourhood of Ispra a picturesque lakeside town in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. The property is a 4-minute drive/20-minute walk from the shores of Lake Maggiore and Ispra beach. Visitors will also find other lakeside beaches at Cerro (a 15-minute drive), Arolo (an 8-minute drive), Reno (a 10-minute drive) and within the lake side nature park Parco del Golfo della Quassa (a 5-minute drive) which also offers hiking and cycling routes.

The port of Laveno Mombello where visitors can take a ferry to Verbania, Stresa, Intra, and the Borromean Islands is a 15-minute drive away. The marina here also offers water taxis, recreational boating activities and a picturesque waterfront promenade lined with cafes, restaurants, shops and gelaterias. The town is also famous for its cable car, the \"Funivia del Lago Maggiore,\" (a 20-minute drive) which takes visitors up to Mount Sasso del Ferro.
