The location of the hotel is excellent – a couple of minutes walk to the Sultanahmet tram stop, and within five minutes you can reach the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. The staff members are very helpful and courteous. However the size of the bedrooms lets the hotel down. We booked a standard double room, and it was very small. The room had a small wardrobe, a small TV on the screen (no international channels), two bedside cabinets, a small minibar fridge and a double bed. Finding a place in the room to put our suitcases and shopping bags so we wouldn’t be falling over them was quite a struggle. The toilet/shower room is also quite small. The breakfast options could do with more diversity – perhaps a continental breakfast offering along with the Turkish offering they already have. In a nutshell, for location and staff I’d give it 8-9 out of 10. For the room and breakfast, 4-5 out of 10. However, the price we got for our stay was very good. So I guess, you get what you pay for.

Good value, central hotel

Good hotel close to main sites of Sultanahmet. Pleasant room, tea and coffee making set, comfy beds. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.

Long Weekend

I stayed in a single room for 3 nights, it was a perfectly reasonable hotel, fantastic location, loads of nearby restaurants, shops and the historic attractions. Very helpful and friendly staff, I would definitely stay again.

A Great Deal!

This hotel was a great deal for the price. My single room was small but comfortable. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was fine, nothing to complain about there. The location is superb for tourists, since it's near the major tourist attractions and just a few steps away from the Sultanahmet tram station and the Marmaray Station.

quality-price:Great

Very closed to several top monuments in Istanbul (ex:blue mosk,St,Sophie) and to public transportation. Too many restaurant which are tourist trap but few nice exceptions I found in lonely planet, The staff at the hotel are very helpful.

Great location for Sultanahmet

First impressions were not the best. I had prearranged transfers from the airport and was met by a young teenage boy who couldn't speak a word of English (and who managed to use 2 phones at once, 1 in each ear!). He had obviously been told to wait for quite a few others as we were shepherded together and gestured to wait for quite a while. Eventually it became clear we were to share a minibus with another couple who were staying in another hotel, so off we went. I had read reviews from others that the rooms were small - on arriving at the hotel I realised that was an understatement! However, it was clean and well decorated, apart from the central light fitting being held only by the wires connecting it to the power supply. There doesn't seem to be very good soundproofing inside the hotel, plus as our room was facing straight out onto the street at street level and we could hear everything outside too, even with the window shut. There wasn't any air conditioning as stated either. Despite this it was a nice hotel and very centrally located for the old town, a short stroll from the tram/Blue Mosque etc., with restaurants a stones throw away. Breakfast was very good - it must be difficult catering for various nationalities but they seemed to succeed. Food was replenished continually and it was nice to have breakfast with great views. I wouldn't describe this as a boutique hotel, but have no complaints about our recent stay there. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Turkey Trip

This hotel is value for money and in a superb location. It is only minutes walk away from major attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Turkish massage places and a high street. So it saves you lots and lots of money that normally you would spend on taxis! The metro station is only a few minutes walk which will take you all the way to Taksim (where all the major shops are) or take you the other way on your route to the airport. The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The breakfast was excellent and the views from the restaurant on top of the building are very nice. Rooms were very very nice and clean although the finishing was not really that great. For example the ceiling lights were not properly secured and you can see large gaps. But that's a minor issue really. Rooms are smaller than they look in the pictures. But that's fine considering the price you pay and the location. The bathroom was a little smelly (due to blocked drain or something). Although it was nice and clean. I would rate this as a 3 start hotel. Overall experience was excellent and I would certainly recommend this hotel for those who on a smaller budget or those looking to live very close to the major attractions.

Établissement très bien situé au cœur de sultanahmet. Personnels réactifs. Tout est à proximité : tramway, sites touristiques à pied. Je le recommande. Seul bémol : chambre un peu petite pour trois personnes.
