The hotel is conveniently located near to a Tram Stop T1, centrally located in between Hagia Sophia Mosque and Grand Bazaar. The kebab restaurant down the street serves excellent food. Hotel wise receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was generally well kept and clean.

The Sultanahmet area where The Emerald Mansion is located is a perfect place to stay within easy walking distance to many historical sites or you easily catch the tram or metro to them. There are hundreds of places to eat in the area & some fantastic stores to buy baklava!

Emerald Mansion Hotel is right in the middle of so many attractions which are just right for walking. The hotel staff are professional in every way and helped us with many questions while we were there. Lovely small, friendly hotel in a perfect location for exploring the main historical sites on foot. Literally a 5 min walk to sultanhamet square, blue mosque, haggia sophia and basilica sisterns. Engin and the team were welcoming, attentive and helpful. This was our first trip to Istanbul and Emerald Mansion was the perfect place for our stay. The weather was pretty cold while we were there so we didn’t mind that there was no outside space but this might be more of an issue if visting in warmer months.

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming (with a special mention for Mustafa). The hotel was in a great location and in close proximity to all of the areas of cultural interest, and the staff were very knowledgeable and offered great advice & suggestions.
