The room was super clean and comfortable. The only advice I’d give is bring an eye mask and ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Not anything the hotel can do better but it’s just the fact of being in a city! The staff was great. I didn’t pack an umbrella and the lady at the desk provided me with one. Check in was quick and check out was easy.

The place is incredible beautiful, everything is walking distance from the hotel. Costumer service is amazing Meleek and Mr Mustafa super professional people. I definitely recommend this hotel as one of my favorite places in Istanbul.

This place was very beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was close enough for walking to main points of interest. Really our only complaint would be the noise level in the room at night. Our windows faced an empty courtyard where every noise from the streets, water pouring out of a next buildings pipe and really noisy birds just echoed in the courtyard and amplified the noise. That and the extremely hard mattress made for sleepless nights. However, it is a great hotel, breakfast was good and delivered to your room.

Emerald Mansion is an adorable boutique hotel close to some hot spots! Very safe and walkable area, close to mosque and public transport. The hotel was very clean and tastefully decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Moustfah the concierge staff was so friendly and helpful. I’d recommend the stay, however for light sleepers get a room that does not have windows on the front. Even though the street was small it was quite busy and a stone road so the sound of cars throughout day and night can be heard quite well when trying to sleep.

The service was above abd beyond. The hitek was beautiful. Breakfast each day was wonderful and brought to our room. My onky complaint would be the bed was so hard i got very little sleep. That coupled with how noisey it was all around us. Everything else was great.

Biggest issue was not having a restaurant/ buffet area. This was non existent in the hotel for breakfast hidden by the photographs that were shown on the Expedia website. The room shown on the website is actually the hotel lobby and is not suited to serve a full meal. Staff at the hotel advised that the restaurant was going to take a few more months to build. I have noticed that this was mentioned on another review earlier in the year as well. Breakfast is the same everyday and consists of a boiled egg,foodstuffs taken out of jars such as olives (not fresh) and tomatoes. BEWARE you will be eating in your bedroom as this is where breakfast is served. Hot water is not available at breakfast, will be passed bottled water to boil yourself in the rooms kettle! Catering server does not speak English and could not understand hot tea with milk. In regards to the room, cups and glasses are not refreshed/ cleaned daily as there were tea stains that were not being washed out. Please be advised that the bathroom sink had a notice on the wall saying no drinking water. Toilet advised on not flushing toilet paper. Also no English channel other than Al Jazeera was working on the TV that was provided in the room. This was not fixed during our stay. As we went during November ( winter months) blankets had to be asked for rather than supplied. Not enough toilet paper and soap supplied. Only positive was the location. This was our 4th visit to Istanbul.

The staff at Emerald Mansion were extremely courteous and nice. Staff was always there to help if I had any concerns. The staff were the highlight of my stay here. The room was very clean and had all the amenities I needed. Housekeeping would clean the room everyday and change the towels everyday. Water bottles were provided free of charge, as the tap water is not potable. The location of the hotel is excellent, located in Sultanahmet, it’s within walking distance of the T1 Tram, Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. Keep in mind, there are restaurants nearby that can have parties till late night, so if you have children, maybe consider a quieter area. For the solo or couple traveller(s), this location is excellent.

Have been travelling the world for 20 years, this was the most awful stay i have ever had. My room 201 was so tiny, the window wouldn't open and the room was stuffy and i was forced to leave my door open to allow fresh air (security risk?). I felt the 'personalised' room breakfast was inadaquate and a cheap way out for the hotel... i cut my losses, and left the hitel for another way better and cheaper hotel down the road, i was just so glad to get out of the hotel. Management couldn't have cared.

The hotel was a little smaller than I was expecting, but very central and perfect to quickly walk to all the main tourist attractions. The staff were always really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was in the room each day which was a little odd, but delivery of breakfast 5 mins after a phone call to request it was also quite nice. Probably wouldn't be so fun if you went in a group though. Maybe they were refitting the breakfast room, but I didn't see ay builders and didn't check.

I absolutely love this property. Everything stood out to me because I love authentic traditional culture, so the Hotel gave that feeling from the start would stood out to me. The most in a few areas was the quaintness of the Turkish style room, the lovely European bathroom surfaces in the beautiful lobby and comfortable bed. Melika and Mustafa were incredible as hosts to me every step of the way. I’m definitely staying here again when I come back next month to Istanbul 🇹🇷.
