The check-in was super easy and convenient. The hotel is located about 15-20 minutes from IST (the Istanbul airport) so do allow plenty of time. We had to leave at 2:30AM for our flight and they called to ensure we were awake and then offered us take-away sandwiches and juice since the kitchen was closed. Great place if you are looking for a place to lay your head before an early flight out!

Watch out for hidden fee. Airport transfer is free only if you book the most expensive room. For all other rooms, you have to pay extra for airport transfer and rate is double than Uber. Hotel room was very nice with fast wifi.

We stayed at Grand Hamit Hotel in Istanbul and had a great experience! We were picked up at the airport and had another flight the next day, so the hotel kindly arranged our transportation back as well, super convenient and stress-free. The staff were very welcoming and kind, and the included breakfast was a nice bonus. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We even met other Canadians during breakfast and had a great chat together! If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay near Istanbul Airport (IST), this is a perfect choice.

The hotel is a solid choice, especially given its convenient proximity to the airport. I’ve stayed here regularly during my stopovers in Istanbul and have always appreciated the clean rooms and overall comfort. However, the airport shuttle service has changed. It used to offer round-trip transfers, but it is now limited to a one-way shuttle to the airport, offered only once a day at noon. Despite this update, the property remains a decent option for a short stay.

The hotel itself is lovely and my room was perfect. However, and I don't want to complain about the hotel because this is a cultural issue. I picked this hotel because it had a restaurant and I was travelling solo. In fact, there isn't really a restaurant but you can order food and they go get it from somewhere. I was okay with that but had hoped to have some wine with my dinner but this is an alcohol-free establishment. I know that can be the case in Turkey but all hotels I have stayed in on the western side always had wine available. Not a downside of the hotel but clients need to know this.

The hotel was clean and efficient, and the staff was helpful, even giving us breakfast to go. The location was not as close to the airport (20 minutes drive) as we expected considering it was advertised as such.
