El hotel es excelente. Nosotros estuvimos en otro de la misma categoría dos días antes y este hotel lo supera significativamente. Volvería sin duda. Se encuentra muy bien ubicado y el desayuno es muy variado, tipo buffet. Tiene recepción las 24 horas. Ayuda mucho en vuelos que llegan en la madrugada, como fue nuestro caso.

Nice Stay at Mount Ararat

Hotel Mount Ararat is a nice hotel, conveniently located near Sultan Ahmet and all the tourist spots therein. The Kupkapi bus and tram stops are within 5 minutes walking distance. The rooms are very clean and staffs are well behaved. The arranged an airport transfer on payment for us as well.

We had two standard double rooms booked, and upon arrival on the first night we were told that we have to stay in twin rooms as there is no double rooms available for that night even though it was pre-booked and the rest of the nights would be normal, so our first morning we had to rush and pack everything up again and wait for our originally booked rooms to be done which delayed us from leaving for our activities. One of the rooms had an unpleasant smell, and breakfast range was very limited so we only had breakfast for one morning out of the 5. Shower curtain is pretty small and kind of useless as a considerable amount of water still managed to spill onto the bathroom floor. Staff were decent and kind but on the last day we faced an inconvenience where the toilet flush had suddenly stopped working in my parents room and my mum has incontinence issues, when this was raised to the staff, they said there was nothing they could do except that theres a toilet downstairs which wasn't very helpful and uncomfortable as they couldn’t easily access the toilets when needed and due to the lack of privacy, this led to them resorting to use my room's toilet, luckily this was only the last night otherwise it would’ve been extremely difficult for both my parents and my husband and I. Also to note we could often smell cigarettes.

I booked online double bed with garden view when I arrived at hotel that receptionist said we don't have that room you been selected he gave me in the basement full of mosquito next to kitchen so much noise i request to move my selected room he said we don't have room then I complaint to Expedia next morning they gave me room with 2 single beds rather than double bed when i refused he said later on we will give you but all night couldn't sleep so tiny bed morning I request them refund my money i don't want to stay then Manager came he gave me double bed room but that area was none smoking but peoples smoking frequently very bad smell coming our room complaint them not action being taken really not satisfied with Afghani receptionist he was very annoying person Turkish peoples were very nice and co-operative.

I stayed there for 4 days.. let me say i love the welcoming vibes from the staff.. Saheen was very welcoming and good person overall. Staff was amazing and very helpful, breakfast was not good at all every day they have lot of cheese not much option. Bed was not comfortable at all actually they join 2 single beds for a couple room which has a gap and remotes, phone and stuff was falling in the middle gap, toilet door was broken which was unlockable. Hotel is in amazing area, in the food street and walk able to main attractions like blue mosque and grand bazar.

Nice staff. parking lot was adjacent and super cheap (200 Turkish liradan per day - same as the hourly rate just up the ill). Free breakfast. The building is a bit dated, but with a rate like that, super cheap, could not complain as it was near the water (Kumkapi), and within all the places we wanted to see (Museums just up the hill and to the east.... I would recommend this place I would.
