Not so happy

Booked a double room and received a single bed room, the air conditioner never exist. The temp. Was extra cold at night despite of the heat radiator was in operation. The clean is not so good but also is not so bad, and the furniture is so old and always there was cats on the entrance which is not hygenic thing. The service is so bad, and the communication with the man on desk is impossible unless you talk turkish or russian, and he is so bad. I was charged 15 usd for some blood drops bleeded from my leg while i was sleeping, despite im sure they will reuse the sheets that i paid for. Once i found that the cleaner putted the bag that was inside toilet trash over my clean staff. The location is good but the view from windows is so bad and you can see it in attachments

Reasonable value for Istanbul

This is a small hotel which is adequate for a few days. A bit difficult to find but fairly central to the main part of that part of town with some good views over the Bhosporous.Stairs a bit narrow to get to the bedroom for anyone who is not sure footed

No internet, ants, springy and hard bed

I normally don't write reviews, but this stay was quite frustrating, and I really don't want anyone else to have to go through our experience. The internet did not work, there were ants crawling up the ceiling, the hotel staff laughed at us when they couldn't find our reservation we booked through hotels.com, the beds were extremely hard.

There was one young man working in two hotels which made him difficult to find the couple of times I had a question. When I inquired about laundry I had given him, he insisted he had not taken it.when he went to check on it, it was there. I told him the night before I was checking out that I would need a taxi at 4 am, he said his friend would be working at that time. He would call a taxi for me. No one was to be found in the morning. The doors were locked and no one responded to my loud knocking several times. I ended up waking a staff member from a different hotel next door to ask him to call for a taxi for me. I wasn't traveling with a phone so couldn't call for myself.

Nice budget hotel with free breakfast

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The room is basic and without air-conditioning. However, it has clean bed and bathroom. I just wanted a place to sleep at night and it fulfilled that purpose well. The hotel offers free Turkish breakfast which is wonderful and excellent. It is near the tram station and ideally located to be in easy access to all tourist attractions in old city Istanbul. The hotel's Wi-Fi is also great. The drawbacks of the hotel are no lift, tiny room size and no air-conditioning. However, the cheap room rates, cleanliness and free breakfast are excellent. The room is also daily cleaned by housekeeping staff. I will recommend this hotel and also visit it again as it is great value for money!

Очень симпатичный отель .

Маленький спокойный отель в очень романтичном месте рядом с двумя входами в парк Гюльхане -- вид из окон на крепостные стены и башни дворца Топкапы , Гюльхане это бывший дворцовый парк . В номере было хорошее отопление и много российских каналов по ТВ. Админ хорошо говорит на русском языке . На фото парк Гюльхане .
