The air conditioning didn't work, the shower didn't go away, the water didn't go away. And 1 day before I left I was called at 5.30am by a hotel receptionist telling me that if I wanted to have whiskey at the bar, it's disrespectful.

Terrible experience. Booked a room and phoned to confirm our arrival at late night. When got there they proposed a basement room with no windows and in front of a service storage although it showed clearly on the booking that our was a standard room with view on the city. Went to another hotel and cancelled the reservation. Very disappointed.

The only positive aspect of the hotel was that the bed sheets and the bathroom were clean. Everything else, both inside and outside the room, was of poor quality. The ceiling was peeling, and the walls were so thin that we could hear noise from other rooms all night as well as from the street. Also, the smell of smoke from other rooms was very strong in ours. The bathroom fan was extremely loud, as was the AC unit. The bathroom was so small that the door could not be closed without stepping behind it. I am very surprised that this place has such a high rating. I would not return.

Pillow cases, linens and towels were all dirty, discolored. Shower didnt work right. Elevator didnt work (you have to carry your luggage upstairs. It may have been a decent hotel previously, but apparently it fell into disrepair and owners dont care. Stay away.
