The Story Hotel is now our go-to in Istanbul. It's location is fantastic, easy walk to Galata or Taksim or Karakoy. The food in the area is superb. The shopping is either main street up market shopping, or side street boutique. The best thing though is the staff. They were friendly, went out of their way for us, even upgraded us as they had the ability to do that and get us into the room early from 2 long flights. We couldn't recommend them more and we'll be back.

Comfortable and clean stay with easy access

Amazing experience from checkin to checkout. Friendly staff who made sure we and our daughter were comfortable, helped with the luggage, booking cabs and other requests. Clean hotel, convenient location next to metro station and the main shopping street. Not at all noisy despite close proximity to busy road.

Staff was very nice. It’s advertised that rooms have kitchenettes. They do not. Expect to pay much more on food because you can’t prepare much of your own. Daily towels, water, and trash collection was nice.

The story with a happy ending

I picked this hotel due to previous reviews and the closeness to some bars and istikal street and a train station. On arrival we were lucky enough to get the top duplex which suited is for the extra size. Check in was very friendly and efficient. The staff even offered to arrange a tour for us along bosphorus river was a nice touch. Complimentary water was also provided. If i return to Istanbul i will definitely look to stay at The Story Pera again.

Hotel was in an excellent location, all the major locations are walkable however the hotel is at the top of a hill so be aware of that. The staff there on reception could not be more helpful, providing great tips for local food, attractions, arranging airport transfers, luggage storage as we had a late return flight. Definitely recommend
