This property is steeped in history and bygone days so don’t expect pristine. But it’s so unique and the location is fantastic so I definitely recommend it. Staff is very helpful. Outdoor gardens and terraces are wonderful.

Great location. Rooms pretty basic.

The breakfast was good. Easy starting the day without thinking about where to go for breakfast. Good variety. They did run out of items during our stay. No butter and no bananas. The room was basic, no luxury. The bathroom was strange and small and very hard to maneuver. Staff were very nice. The location was perfect and we had no problem walking everywhere we wanted to.

We enjoyed our stay at Sultanhamet Palace Hotel. The location was so close to all the main historic sites in Istanbul. The staff was friendly. The first night, the pillows were too full for us so we took the pillow cases and put them on decorative pillows. The housekeeper noticed and provided us with flatter pillows without us having to ask. Our favorite spot was the balcony as we had a close up view of the blue Mosque and a view of the Bosphorus Strait. We were unable to get a larger room and our room was quite small and repairs were not done well. The biggest complaint would be the breakfast. We spent 1 week in Greece and 2 weeks in Turkey staying in several hotels with each including breakfast and this was the worst. We heard other people complaining. The bread was hard and stale, there was not much variety, the jams were not homemade and had little flavor. We even went out to eat breakfast the last day we were there because it was so disappointing. However, I would stay there again just for the location and staff.

My cousin and I had a wonderful experience. As two women traveling in Istanbul our biggest priority was safety and this hotel provided exactly that! All the staff were so kind and the location of the hotel was perfect for seeing all of the major sites. Thank you, Sultanahmet Palace Hotel for being apart of a great experience in Istanbul!

I was disappointed in the breakfast buffet. There was always fresh fruit and cereal but there was a lack of choice across the board. The bar prices very very high so I would not drink there. Overall it was a lovely hotel with nice staff.The location was excellent.

A perfect location in the historic part of Istanbul. Within 10 minutes walk of Blue Masque, Haghia Sofia, cistern, and Topkapi Palace with wide range of restaurants from Four Seasons rooftop to local quality and quick. Also easy tram (15 mins) to Kabatas harbour for cruises. Fantastic panoramic view from Junior Suite. Quiet street was unbelievable in central Istanbul. Clean, a palace. No lift but a grand staircase.

Don't hesitate to book.

Great breakfast. Beautiful outdoor patio and garden areas. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and it was nice to have complimentary bottled water supplied. Couldn't ask for a better location. Outside the front entrance, beautiful Blue Mosque and Arasta bazaar. Highly recommend.
