Alex at the front desk was awesome! We connected and he was very helpful. Nice room - Alex gave us a room on the 1st floor so we didn’t have to carry our suitcases upstairs! Great location!!!

The hotel was very nice: the rooms and the lobby are beautiful and the garden outside is also lovely . The staff were very helpful and the location is terrific, with a lovely view of the Blue Mosque from the courtyard. The breakfast was excellent, with an abundance of choices and a view of the Bosphorus from both indoor seating and the terrace. The only sour note was an evening meal we had in the restaurant, which was the worst we had in Turkey. It is difficult to find a bad meal in Turkey but even basic things on the menu were not available and the food we did receive was poorly prepared. Even the bread was stale. We spoke to the staff at the front desk about this problem but to date have received no follow up from the manager.

The hotel had a lot of character and it's best selling point is the location - tight opposite the blue mosque with a fantastic view. It is a little tired but it's not hugely noticable. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was varied and great that it was included. Drinks on the outside terrace were great and the birw is amazing, although alcohol is very expensive.

The location of the hotel was the best. If you want to stay in the old town near the main attractions, you can’t beat that. However, there are some things you should know. If you book the blue mosque view Rome, the bathroom is a Turkish style and very small and not convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but they didn’t have any other options besides this type of room. They did move us the second day to a bigger room, but the bathroom had the same limitation. The breakfast is good and you can request them to cook your eggs and there’s a decent variety. It’s a good overall stay but for the price we expected a little more amenities and the room to be a little better.
