Service and staff were excellent. Property is older and could use some updating. Food was good with good variety. Italian restaurant was very good. Wonderful beach and pool area. Enough lounges and umbrellas most of the time. Drinks are good and good bartenders. Everyone at the resort truly made us feel special. I would certainly return.

Check in process was very slow. More staff should be checking in guests when there is a line up to check in after 3pm. Seems that other staff at front desk are waiting for customers to check out or with room issues and are just standing there with nothing to do as the checkin line grows Should be better staff management in my opinion.

A fun, fantastic family adventure

We had the best time staying in Emporio Ixtapa. The staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was fun with live music in the lobby pretty much every night. I would recommend staying on the upper levels if you don't want to hear it super loud. We had an ocean view room which offered an incredible experience of getting the light as the sun rose. Being able to walk right down to the beach was a plus. My mom is in a wheelchair and her accessibility to most everything was also a plus.

Had a beautiful suite and views. But, like living in a disco. Loud music by pool directed towards rooms every day till the pool closed. Never opened windows, couldn’t nap during heat of the day

: Staff at the dining areas were amazing. The all inclusive is worth the cost. -: We originally asked for a room with a view and it wasn’t not ready even though it was close to 4pm. We ended up with a room on the 1st floor that smelt like sewer really bad. They did not want to change our room, was disappointed. Will not stay there again.

We liked it.

1st time at this hotel in Ixtapa. We've been to others in this zone. I read a lot of reviews and was a bit concerned. We enjoyed that it was a smaller hotel. Check in & check out smooth. Food was quite good for the hotel rating. A few things were a little dated but nothing major. Example pool bathroom was good, it was clean but many repairs have been done to the counter. But it was clean and worked. We will possibly book again next year for part of our trip.
