Overall, I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was quiet, and the front desk staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The location is also a big plus—close to a Target and several great restaurant options. If I had to mention one minor drawback, it would be being woken up by housekeeping knocking on my door, before 9 a.m. for room cleaning. I appreciated their attentiveness, but the timing felt a bit early while guests are still sleeping. That said, it’s a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it. It’s more affordable than other nearby hotels and rated better overall.

The hotel was ok. But it took them forever to return the cleaning deposit. I called after 7 business days (11 actual days) and was told no one could help me. I called after 10 business days (14 actual days) and the girl that answered explained that “it takes 3-5 business days to get your deposit back. Business days do not count the weekend.” I explained to her that it has been 10 business days and she then tried to claim my bank was not releasing my refund. I informed her that I spoke with my bank before calling her and they had no pending transaction on my account credit or charge. Then she put me on hold for ten minutes, picked the call back up and tried to start the conversation from the beginning as if I had just called and not been on hold. When I explained to her that we had already been talking she took my name, phone number and said she would call back. We were in the room less than 10 hours. We slept, brushed our teeth and left. At this point I have spent more time on the phone resolving this issue than I did in the actual room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel exterior and lobby area was clean, kept up well, and decorated for the holidays. The room layout was super cute and convenient. Unfortunately when we got in our room we saw several dead roaches. They did offer another room and were very apologetic, however we chose to find a different hotel. They refunded us quickly and did not give us a hard time about leaving. I hate having to give this low rating. I think this was just an unfortunate situation. It is obvious that they take care of the hotel, and are working on fixing the issue.
